Kirsty's tightly melodic songs draw on universal themes of love and separation. Ranging from the hauntingly lyrical to punchy, anthemic ballads, they stay with the listener long after the doors have closed. Kirsty, whose voice has been likened variously to Eva Cassidy and Amy Macdonald, lists Thea Gilmore, Richard Walters and William Fitzsimmons amongst her influences, but she also draws inspiration from her roots in the Scottish Highlands and her love of the Kent countryside. In the last couple of years Kirsty has performed at a variety of venues in Kent and on the Continent. She released her first album in 2011 and was a finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest in 2012.
